London Dynamo prides itself on being a vibrant, friendly and inclusive cycling club, committed to fostering a diverse and welcoming community. Women’s Cycling is an integral part of our club and our membership continues to grow and thrive. We offer a wide variety of engaging activities exclusively for women members. From open days and ride-outs to informative skills sessions, social gatherings and an annual training camp abroad – there’s something for everyone.
Many of our women cyclists get involved in racing both on the road, at criteriums and in Zwift. However, being a racer is not a requirement to join and enjoy being part of our club. Many other members prefer the more relaxed and social side of our rides or opt for our coaching sessions available throughout the warmer months.
At both ends of the riding spectrum, there exists a common desire among our members to improve and have fun. This collective aim serves to enhance our safety, proficiency and enjoyment as riders. We embrace riders of all backgrounds at varying experience levels and with a range of personal goals. Whether you prefer women-only events or mixed group rides, the choice is yours. Explore Our Rides for more details on what we offer and join us on the journey to new cycling adventures.

Fully Booked – member only event
London Dynamo is excited to bring you the 2025 Women’s Camp – from March 26th to March 30th – in the stunning coastal town of Almuñécar, located in the heart of Costa Tropical, near Malaga, Spain. This camp comes hot off the success of our last year’s Women’s Training Camp in Cambrils, Spain.
Almuñécar is a renowned destination for professional cycling teams like Movistar and Cofidis, who regularly choose this picturesque beach town for their pre-season training. With a variety of coastal roads and challenging inland mountain routes, Almuñécar offers the perfect training ground for cyclists of all levels. Plus, the region enjoys an impressive 300 days of sunshine every year, ensuring optimal training conditions!
As the 2025 Women’s Training Camp is fully booked with over 25 London Dynamo women attending, don’t miss your chance to be part of next year’s event (dates to be confirmed) in another exciting location! Get in touch with our Women’s Captain to register your interest for 2026, or to join the waiting list for any potential cancellations.
All of our members are part of the same mixed-gender club. We ride and socialise in mixed-gender groups the majority of the time. However, we recognise that cycling is a male-dominant sport which may create a barrier to entry and/or engagement in our rides and socials for those who do not identify as male. It is therefore important to us to occasionally create spaces for those to ride and socialise separately to the men. We aim to have a smaller selection of women-only rides and social events. We also organise a women’s cycling camp abroad once per year.
Yes, please see Our Rides for more detail.
Yes, aside from racing, anyone is welcome to ride in our usual club rides/events in mixed-gender groups. This forms the majority of our organised rides.
We have a women-only cycling camp each year abroad, usually in April, which is a mix of training rides and socialising. The cut-off to sign up is often around 6 months before, but this can be discussed with our Women’s Captain if you are interested in going.
Yes, we have a core women’s racing team of Cat 1-3 riders who target National Level Races and also many women who race just for fun. If you are interested in racing, just let our Women’s Captain know when you join the club. She can put you in touch with the Women’s Race Team Lead and add you to any relevant groups.
Yes, the majority of our membership do not race and prefer to go on training rides or social rides. The choice is yours!
All our rides will give you an opportunity to improve your riding. Most members will be happy to give you support and guidance if you ask. We encourage all riders to attend our novice race training days in the Spring/Summer. These days are well worth doing even if you have no intention of racing. Throughout the Summer, the club hires a British Cycling certified coach for mid-week sessions in Richmond Park. These are also a great way of improving your skills and fitness.
We are very happy to answer any questions. Please email our Women’s Captain.
